"Believe Enable Evolve" was a transformative 2017 training programme for Evolve Care Academy, challenging the traditional institutional care approach. Emphasising a person-centred household model, the programme focused on seeing beyond diagnoses and embodying person-centred care rather than just practicing it.

The year-long training covered key aspects, starting with observation and audit skills, understanding language in Dementia care, and the importance of abandoning controlling practices. Practical experiences, including a dedicated clinical practice day, highlighted the significance of meaningful occupation and the mealtime experience. The programme, more than theory, was a call to action for caregivers to adopt a holistic, individualised model of care centred on compassion and dignity.
